About Bastrop Area Cruisers

The Bastrop Area Cruisers was founded in 1999 by 26 charter members who shared an interest in classic automobiles. The Cruisers has grown steadily in membership. Ownership of a vehicle is not required for membership. The Club's regular meetings, social outings, and special events are popular and well attended. The Cruisers' Veteran's Week End Car Show has become a major gathering for automobile collectors and enthusiasts with entries from Texas and adjoining states last year.

The Bastrop Area Cruisers is an all volunteer non-profit organization whose primary purpose is to preserve, maintain, and enjoy antique, classic, and special interest vehicles 20 years old and older, for the benefit of its members as well as for the general public. Later-year special interest vehicles, such as Custom and High performance cars may also be included in club activities with approval of the membership.

The Bastrop Area Cruisers name was chosen by its members because the club is open to and welcomes anyone who appreciates cars. Classics, Antiques, Hot Rods, Customs... We love them all!. Our goal as a club is to enjoy getting together, have fun with our cars, and be a positive influence in our local communities.

The Bastrop Area Cruisers started nearly a decade ago and have been revvin' up ever since. We're now heading toward our second decade of happy cruising and invite you to join the fun. We promise you will enjoy the ride.
