Bastrop Area Cruisers was started in 1999,  with 25 charter members. Old car enthusiasts got together, found other local enthusiasts and the car club was created.  The general purpose of the BASTROP AREA CRUISERS, a non-profit organization, shall be to preserve, maintain, and enjoy antique, classic, and special interest vehicles 20 years old and older for the benefit of it's members as well for the general public.  The club may be open to some later-year or special interest vehicles if accepted by a majority vote of the members. Ownership of a vehicle is not required for membership.

 We are a car club for all cars,
Classic, Antique, Hot Rods, Muscle and Custom Cars. We love them all!

 

So the Bastrop Area Cruisers was started, revved up and we began cruise 'in.  And we have been cruise 'in along ever since. 

 

The name for the, Bastrop Area Cruisers, was voted on by the club.  It was picked because we wanted to be open to any car lover in the area.  Our car club is opened to all.  You don�t even have to have a car could be thinking of buying one or have one under construction.  Or if you just like being around all those good old cars.

 

Our goal as a club is to enjoy getting together and having fun with our cars and to be a positive influence in our local communities.

 

So cruise on through our website and see what we are all about.  Please drive safely through our website because we are still under construction.  And there are some potholes out there.  We will have all the roads paved soon and the cruise �in will be a lot smoother.
